Cypress S6AE10xA - Energy Harvesting PMIC for Wireless Sensor Nodes

The new Cypress S6AE10xA family of Energy Harvesting Power Management ICs (PMICs) enables tiny, solar-powered wireless sensors for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The new S6AE101A device is the world’s lowest-power, single-chip Energy Harvesting PMIC, and can be used with solar cells as small as 1 cm2 due to their low start up and quiescent current. The PMICs are highly integrated, with family members offering power gated outputs, low dropout regulators, CR timers, comparators, and battery backup operation. Cypress offers a complete, battery-free Energy Harvesting solution that pairs the PMIC with its EZ-BLE™ PRoC™ module for Bluetooth® Low Energy connectivity.

The PMIC family is ideal for battery-less Wireless Sensor Nodes that monitor physical and environmental conditions.
