nRF52 – Low power ARM® Cortex™-M4 processor with 2.4 GHz RF transceivers
The nRF52 series offers pin-compatible device options for Bluetooth low energy, proprietary 2.4 GHz, and ANT™ solutions, giving you the freedom to develop your wireless system using the technology that suits your application the best. The unique memory and hardware resource protection system allows you to develop applications on devices with embedded protocol stacks running on the same processor without any need to link in the stack or strenuous testing to avoid application and stack from interfering with each other.
nRF52832 - Multiprotocol Bluetooth Smart/ANT/2.4GHz RF SoC
nRF52832 is an ultra-low power 2.4 GHz wireless System on Chip (SoC) integrating the nRF52 Series 2.4 GHz transceiver and an ARM Cortex™-M4 CPU with flash memory.
nRF52832 supports Bluetooth® low energy, the ANT protocol, and a range of proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols, such as Gazell from Nordic Semiconductor. Fully qualified Bluetooth low energy stacks for nRF52832 are implemented in the S100 series of SoftDevices. The S100 series of SoftDevices are available for free and can be downloaded and installed on nRF52832 independent of your own application code.
